Get meat to kids in need.

9 million children in the united states are food insecure.

It is estimated that over half of preschool-aged children have micronutrient deficiencies.

Micronutrient deficiencies compromise immune systems, hinder child growth and development, and affect human potential worldwide. Young children are particularly susceptible to the effects of micronutrient malnutrition with iron and B12 at the top of that list.

And although fruits and vegetables are great, the best foods to beat these deficiencies are animal-sourced foods like meat, eggs, and dairy.

Snacks for kids are full of sugar and empty calories. But with your help, we will be sending kids high protein, sugar-free snacks full of critical nutrients to food insecure kids.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

GFJA is partnering with Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Markus Bailey to bring nutrient-rich food to food insecure kids in the Cincinnati area.

Until December 31, 2022, all donations will be used to purchase and send Paleovalley’s 100% grass-fed beef sticks to Freestore Foodbank in Cincinnati. You’ll be providing kids with nutritious snacks which is critical to their brain’s growth and development.

The Global Food Justice Alliance advocates for the right of all people to choose nutrient-dense foods such as meat, milk, and eggs, which are critical for nutritious, environmentally sustainable, and equitable food systems that can sustain both human life and the planet.

And now you can help us get quality protein to communities in need. Each dollar provides a kid with 1 nutritious meat stick!

I chose to partner with the Global Food Justice Alliance because they advocate for access to high quality foods produced through regenerative agriculture that align with the evolutionary biology of human beings, especially in food insecure populations. This type of education and advocacy is critical for nutritious, environmentally sustainable, and equitable food systems that can sustain both human life and the planet.
